[Cass is quick, traversing the rooftops like she was born with them. She knows every inch of this city and it certainly shows if he takes the time to look.
She's leaping across the chasms and onto other rooftops, and when she finally throws herself from a rooftop, she lets out her harness to swing herself up to safety.
[Griffin runs, but there's no need for him to jump the rooftops when he can... Jump them. Her last move makes him pause. She wants to play? He can play. He flicks his eyebrows up to show that he's accepting the challenge.
Then he breaks into a run and leaps off the roof.
He stays in free fall for a few seconds, his arms spread out. He always did like the sensation of falling. It's one of the few times where he untruly feels unbound to anything. Before he gets too far down, he Jumps and appears back on the roof next to Cass.]
[There, that slight look on his face. He knows what she's doing now. She waits until he Jumps beside her and then she gives him a real, genuine smile beneath the fabric that covers her mouth. It's a momentary thing, just for that second, and then she suddenly strikes out with her foot, aiming to simply nudge him in the side.]
Tag.
[And then she jumps off the roof and takes off again.]
[Griffin shakes his head as she disappears. He simply stands on the roof for a couple minutes, looking down at the city. Why is she doing this? He's known Cass for a while and she's never really come across as playful. There's only one way to find out, he supposes. And it is a good distraction.
It takes two Jumps, then he is in front of her. Griffin claps her on the shoulder with a smirk.]
[It's not surprising that he'd be much better at it than Stephanie ever could be. The object for her isn't to win, it's to get him to play and to maybe have a little fun. And judging by his smirk, she's doing pretty well at it.
She gives him a faint smile, slipping out of his grip for a moment.]
[She follows after him immediately, grappling herself onto the next rooftop and then the next, but then she's gone once more, disappearing into the shadows...almost quite literally.
[He stands still, arms crossed over his chest. The plan is to wait until she gets close then Jump away, because he likes being a little shit like that. Then she fades from his line of vision entirely, like she sunk into the shadows. Griffin's eyes narrow. He Jumps to another rooftop on his right. He stays alert, looking all around for her to jump out at him.]
[Cassandra makes her way across the rooftop chasm in silence, something she's learned so often from her training. And when she does make her way over to him, all she does is tap him on the shoulder.
[That's...an interesting idea. Cass looks thoughtful a moment, then nods.]
Okay. Deal.
[She steps back once, twice, then disappears again. She takes off in the other direction and he can probably hear her footfalls until they're gone again, headed to the next rooftop.]
[Griffin follows on foot, surprisingly light even though he's wearing his usual boots. When he can't hear her anymore, he freezes. Griffin stands still, tensed and ready to attack at any given second. Dead silent. How is she doing that? It isn't an invisibility thing, he'd still be able to hear footsteps. Unless she's diving off the roofs again? No, he'd hear the hook. Hmm.]
[She jumps back, but not fast enough. His fingers graze the material of her shirt, a sure win. But she doesn't seem displeased. In fact, she's smiling beneath the half-mask.]

So?

[He gives her a taunting (but not malicious) look before Jumping away. He goes a couple rooftops over, mockingly saluting her.]
