[She steps back once, twice, then disappears again. She takes off in the other direction and he can probably hear her footfalls until they're gone again, headed to the next rooftop.]

[Griffin follows on foot, surprisingly light even though he's wearing his usual boots. When he can't hear her anymore, he freezes. Griffin stands still, tensed and ready to attack at any given second. Dead silent. How is she doing that? It isn't an invisibility thing, he'd still be able to hear footsteps.
